New Youth Director Introduction

We are so excited to introduce, Brayden Bishop, who will get started as our new Youth Director next month! Brayden will be working with Victoria as she steps into the Youth Ministry Assistant position. Read Brayden’s bio below:

Hi, I’m Brayden Bishop!
I’m a lifelong United Methodist with a deep love for building connections and living out what I believe is God’s universal call to all of us—to love. I grew up in Plano, Texas, where I spent my time playing soccer, performing in the drumline, and staying active in my church youth group.

I went on to attend Southwestern University, where I briefly played soccer, joined the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, and earned my B.A. in Religion—all while spending my summers as a children’s camp director. After college, I returned to North Texas to pursue my Master of Divinity at SMU’s Perkins School of Theology and served as a Youth Minister for four years.

Most recently, I’ve been in a season of discernment, working in the service industry and taking time to reconnect with myself, my family, and my sweet dog, Luna. I’m so grateful to be stepping into this next chapter with you. As an Enneagram 7, this opportunity has truly re-energized my spirit, and I can’t wait to bring that energy into our shared life together. August can't come soon enough!
