First Church & Habitat for Humanity .... Together we make HOME possible!

As one of our local Mission out-reaches, First Church works with several other faith organizations each year in an effort known as the Common Grounds Faith Build. In 2025, First Church will once again be co-anchoring this effort so that TWO families will be able to purchase home in Harmony Villages. Thank you for giving your time and generous donations.

First Church Habitat Build Days for 2025

First Church will have five (5) on-site Habitat Build Days in 2025:

Thursday, July 10th
Saturday, August 9th
Tuesday, September 16th
Saturday, November 15th
Saturday, March 21st, 2026

Please mark your calendars, and reach out if you would like to participate. No construction experience is necessary. Habitat staff will be present for guidance at each build. We generally have ten (10) BUILDERS on-site, as well as three (3) LUNCH PROVIDERS.

HABITAT ReStore

Since opening in 2001, the Fort Collins Habitat ReStore has served as a vital source of funding for Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope. The ReStore accepts a wide variety of donations from the community including furniture, appliances, tools, building materials, and new in 2025 they now accept clothing – giving shoppers even more options at affordable prices. What makes the ReStore truly unique is that they sell more than your typical thrift store items. They also accept and re-sell vehicles, including cars, boats, and motorcycles with all proceeds helping to fund Habitat’s mission in Fort Collins.

In addition to its financial impact, the ReStore contributes to sustainability by helping divert materials from landfills. Keeping over one million pounds of usable items in circulation yearly.

When visiting the ReStore, you’ll meet not only our dedicated staff but also the volunteers who keep the store running by processing donations, organizing the space, and assisting customers.

The ReStore is open Tuesday through Saturday. A pickup service is available for eligible donated products within Fort Collins.
