The First Church Garden Team Rocks

On Saturday, April 26, 13 pairs of hands met in the Parlor to select a task from the list! In 4 hours we were able to complete:
* trimming lower branches from trees
* moving dirt from the rectangle garden to cover roots at the south entrance.
* laying out the plan for the new garden.
* planting.six new mini bushes
* digging out the little triangle bed and planting ice plants
* cleaning up iris beds
* repairing the brickwork at the obelisk on north lawn
* planting new rose on the NE corner
* removing weeds and cones
* removing rouge plants in the evergreens at south entrance
And enjoy yummy treats!

 
Once again we were able to save money on our landscaping contract and were graciously given a Foundation Grant to provide funding! Many thanks to our Garden Team!
