Celebrate Easter With Us
April 5 at 9:00 and 10:30 am
Egg Hunt at 10:00 am

The Easter season is an opportunity to encounter Hope, Peace, Love, and Joy. Together, we will explore the profound sense of wholeness shaped by the life of Jesus, in our series, "Gather Us In.”

Lent Services

Ash Wednesday

An all-ages service that invites us to create space in our lives offered February 18 at 7 pm.

Maundy Thursday

A service of communion April 2 at 7 pm, told through the scriptures of Christ’s last week. A meaningful moment to “do this every time you remember me.”

Good Friday

Experience Christ’s last day through a powerful sharing of the scripture story and music from the choir on April 3 at 7 pm. This tenebrae service, in which darkness grows as the story unfolds, will include the stripping of the altar and placing of a cross in the lawn as we prepare for Easter.

Easter Service

April 5 at 9:00 and 10:30 am
Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 am

Our Easter service is filled with joy and music. Organ, orchestra, and choir will lead us in hymns and special music. The sermon offers a relatable look at what the Easter Story means for our everyday lives. Children’s Time includes a visit from one of our puppets and we conclude the service with the Hallelujah Chorus.

Whether you worship regularly or attend on the holidays, First United Methodist Church’s Easter services are a meaningful and engaging way to celebrate life.

And what is Easter morning without an Easter Egg hunt?!? We invite you to join us as the children hunt for eggs in-between morning worship services at 10:00 am. And we won’t just load your kids up on chocolate- we also throw in some healthier surprises.

We can't wait to have you join us!
