Win Schendel survived the Hitler Jugend in WWII

Winfried Schendel (1931-2024) was an FUMC member nearly 30 years. Many church members know his story of growing up in Nazi Germany. Win was born in 1931, survived WWII, moved to America, and became a dedicated U.S. citizen all his life, which ended in November 2024 in Fort Collins.

He made many presentations to schools and civic organizations during his life, but only three presentations were videotaped and publicly available for review. Seed the attached flyer.

Win was dedicated to show his love for American democracy, and the duty of its citizens to protect it. Please indicate your interest of preferred times, # of attendants, etc. so that we can set up a place and time, probably in Winter 2027. Note: This a historical and "duties of citizenship" presentation, and NOT a political one.
